I'm Ashamed to Admit It...

But I have never had Ben and Jerry's Ice cream before. That was until today.

Laurie over at Double Bugs is having a contest to win some free ice cream, and I knew I had to enter.

I decided I would video tape my first bite of Ben and Jerry's. You can see the whole video of me talking about it on my site, Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls.

My 2 year old decided she was a fan too.

Vado HD

I have never had a video camera up till the end of last year. Then I received my first hand held point and shoot video camera. It was easy to use, and great to take everywhere with me. I loved having something I could easily hook up to my computer and use for vlogging.

The only problem I had is that is wasn't a very high quality picture. I wanted something that wasn't fuzzy and was just as easy to use. That is when I came across the Vado HD. It has been great to use. If you want to see the difference between the two and hear all the positive and negative aspects of the two separate cameras, be sure to stop by and read my whole review on my site, Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls.

Pediped Shoes

Let me just start off by saying that my daughter is a HUGE fan of shoes. That was one of her first words. And just the other day she wouldn't get dressed until I told her she could wear a new pair of shoes we just got.

So when I was given a pair of Pedipeds for her, I was excited, especially because they were so cute! My daughter was even more excited, however. She loves to wear them all the time. And everywhere we go we always get compliments on them. They have great boys ones as well as girls shoes, and even ones for younger kids.

Come check out the video all about Pedipeds and see why we like them so much besides their cute factor on my blog Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls.

Tres Sleek Shapewear

I doubt most of us have supermodel bodies that don't need any tucking anywhere. I know I don't! Instead of going through expensive and painful surgery, why not use a shapewear garment under your clothes?

Tres Sleek has some great ones, perfect for any trouble areas you might have. They just came out with the Tank-teeni that looks like a normal tank or tee, but helps slim out out stomach, back, and hip area.

Be sure to stop by my blog, Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls, to find out more or to enter a contest to win anything from their BRAdigy collection.

Let's Redecorate!

I get an itch to paint every now and then. Our house was completely white when we moved in. I decided I wanted to actually have color on my walls. That means me doing all the work. I've done it a room at a time, and am slowly getting our house painted.

Paint can get expensive, although it is still one of the cheapest ways to redecorate a room. To help you redecorate, Glidden Paint is giving away one free quart of paint per household. It's easy to get, and if you want to find out how, be sure to stop by my blog Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls! A quart isn't enough for a whole room, but maybe just a small area or an accent wall!

Summer Time and Your Kid's Skin

Summertime comes and kids go outside. That's just how it works. But are your kids protected from the sun?

Did you know that you get the majority of your sun exposure in the first 18 years of your life? So a sunburn you got as a kid might show up as cancer 30 years down the road. A burn is not the only result of the sun either. Those are just the UVB rays. The UVA rays are the ones that damage your skin, but stay hidden for years. This is what causes the aging. The wrinkles and sun spots an even cancer.

So what are your worries about your kid's skin care in the summer? Come fill out a brief survey from Skin MD Natural and you can be entered into a drawing to win 2 free bottles of Skin MD Natural. Just be sure to tell them that Trisha from Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls sent you to be entered into the drawing.

If you want to read more about the survey and why it is taking place, be sure to stop by my blog, Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls!

Finish Quantum Tablets

Washing dishes is a never ending chore around here, and I bet in any house! Unless you use a lot of disposables. For us, it was always super hard to get our dishes sparkling clean. Our hard water pretty much always left us with cloudy dishes and a white film on them.

I got tired of having to soak all my dishes in vinegar, only to have the cloudiness and white film come back in the next wash. I never realized that they type of dishwashing detergent I used could make a difference!

After I used the Finish Quantum Tablets I realized that I had made a HUGE mistake buying my current brand of detergent. Come see the before and after pictures and enter for your chance to win a box of Tablets and a bottle of Jet-Dry Turbo Dry on my blog Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls.

Hapari Swimwear

With summer fast approaching, it means it's time to break out the swimsuits. Most women I know hate wearing a swim suit. They always seem to show off the curves we want to hide, and hide the ones we want to show off.

Hapari swimwear is the exact opposite. The women who designed the suits decided to fix all the swimsuit problems we have and help you look your best when playing at the pool with your kids. Come read more about Hapari and enter to win a gift certificate to win one of their suits!

Kinesys Sunscreen

If you are anything like me and my family, as the weather gets warmer, we spend more and more time outside. Being the redhead that I am, I always take time to put on protection from the sun. The only problem is trying to put it on my toddler.

A cream sunscreen takes a while to rub on and is not easy with a squirmy kid. That's why I really like the spray sunscreens. I just had the chance to try out the Kinesys Kids spray sunscreen and I really enjoy it. It's perfect when we don't have a lot of time to spend rubbing in cream.

It has lots of other great aspects, but if you want to hear more, you need to come check out my review of Kinesys Sunscreen on my blog and enter my contest for a chance to win!

Prima Princessa

What little girl doesn't dream of becoming a ballerina? I know I always used to have fun dressing up in tutus and twirling around the room.

Prima Princessa is a DVD that shows real life ballet, along with demonstrations of some basic steps by kids. They then encourage the viewers to get up and try those steps too. It gets them off the couch and dancing around the room.

My daughter had a lot of fun spinning and jumping around the room. If you want to check out the video of her doing this, or if you want to win a copy of the DVD for your family, come on over to Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls!

Belkin Surge Protectors

If you are trying to conserve energy, you might want to look into Belkin surge protectors. They have outlets that are "always on" for things like clocks that need constant power. Then they have "switchable" outlets that allow you to turn the outlets off when you aren't using those items. This is great for TV's, DVD players, computers, printers, etc. You simply switch them on using a remote control when you want those items to be on. This helps reduce the electricity that is used when something is plugged in, but not turned on. Be sure to visit my blog Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls to read more about Belkin Surge protectors and find out how we used ours.

Polka Tot Boutique

I love having things that are different than everyone else. This includes clothes for my daughter. There have been plenty of times when I see another girl wearing the same clothes as my daughter, but I love it when she is in something unique, and all the other moms want to know where I got it. Well, this is what happened with our Spring shirt from Polka Tot Boutique.

First of all, it just screams Spring. Too bad it's been snowing and cold here. But at least it brightens my day to look at it. Second thing I love, is it's completely unique. I have never seen another shirt like this anywhere. And they sell more than just shirts. They have things for boys, girls, moms, teachers, you name it! It's all handmade, so it has a special feel to it.

If you want to check out my full review and enter to win an initial tee of your choice, be sure to stop by my blog Sweet 'n' Sassy Girls!

They are perfect for kids learning to self feed. They are made of a soft rubber that kids can chew on and use as a toy. The unique design makes it easier for kids to get food from the plate to their mouth, prevents gagging, and is made for left or right handed use.
