Happy Heinys Cloth Pocket Diaper giveaway

When I found out I was pregnant with Shae one of the first decisions I made was to cloth diaper. I'm happy to say that she is almost 2 years old and I'm still at it and still loving it.

I've tried many many brands and styles over this time and have to say that thanks to Itty Bitty Baby Bunz, Happy Heinys are one of my recent faves. I'm loving the fit, the stretch, the soft inner fleece and the vibrant colors.

To see my comparison of the Happy Heinys sized Pocket and Happy Heinys One-Size Pocket cloth diapers come over to LookWhatMomFound.

You'll also see that I'm having a giveaway for the Happy Heinys sized Pocket cloth diaper. Check out all the chances you have to win a diaper of your own.

BooginHead SippiGrip

Does your little one love to throw everything ? Do their sippy cups always end up on the floor or ground ? Have you had to chase a sippy cup down a aisle of the store while shopping or even while pushing the stroller. While in the car do you have screaming toddler because they can not reach their cup. If you answered yes, then you need the the SippiGrip ! SippiGrip is a is durable, washable and has a unique grip material for a strong hold. SippiGrip grips your child's cup, bottle or toy for a secure and safe fit!

I am not sure why my toddler thinks if he is in the shopping cart or in his stroller he MUST throw his cup constantly. I can not tell you how many cups we have lost !

As you can see in the
photo of my son in his stroller the SippyGrip works great ! We went to the zoo on Mothers Day and it was so nice not to worry where his cup was and it was always in his reach. I also always take the SippiGrip to the grocery store and attach his cup to the cart.

Does Your Carseat have Side Impact Protection? Recar Signo Does.

Have you heard the buzz about Recaro carseats? Recaro is a seating expert. Not only do they specialize in Child Safety Seating, they also design motorsport seating! I felt that if they could design a seat that would assist in the safety of drivers going at immense speeds, imagine what they could do in regards to child safety!

The thing that sells me on Recaro carseats, like the Signo my son is sitting in, is the Side Impact Protection! Not all carseat have this. But the Recaro Signo has energy absorbing headwings and mid-section support, as well as structural support for their hip and thighs. That's great to know, since so many children are injured during a side impact collission. Plus, it just makes the seat more comfortable! When my son falls asleep, his head no longer slumps over! it helps him sit more appropriately, which looks more comfortable and safer in the event of a collission.

Recaro makes two convertible seats, as well as a toddler seat and boosters. The two convertible seats are the Como and Signo. So, what's the difference? Well, I love that the the Signo has an infinite adjustable headrest. The Como has 5 headrest and harness positions. And while both convertibles come with latch mini connectors, the Signo has an additional latch bar which makes the switch from rear to forward-facing easier.

If you would like to read more about my experience
with the Recaro Signo, please visit the Mom Buzz and read my complete review.

You can view a demo of the Recaro Signo here: Recaro Signo Demo.

Emily has been on top for many years as America's top girl name and Jacob is still holding the title for boys for the 10th year in a row . This year Emma has taken the reigns for the girls.
This year each gender received a new name to the top 10 list.
According to the Social Security Administration the list for 2008 goes something like this.

Girls
  1. Emma
  2. Isabella
  3. Emily
  4. Madison
  5. Ava
  6. Olivia
  7. Sophia
  8. Abigail
  9. Elizabeth
  10. Chloe (new addition)
Boys

  3. Ethan
  4. Joshua
  5. Daniel

How many Michael's do you know? Honestly I can't think of any, I do know a couple Christophers though. Olivia as always been a favorite of mine so I'm not surprised to see it on the top 10 list. What influences your name choices? Do your children have any of these names?

Summer Party: Gr8X DiaperBag

What’s more inconvenient than trying to change a diaper when you’re on the go? Zoos, parks, playgrounds, amusement parks don’t always have comfortable or clean places to place your baby. The Gr8X Baby Traveler Deluxe Diaper Bag has solved this problem in a fantastic new way.

Designed in Australia, GrbX bags incorporate the trends of the season yet ensure that innovation, function and quality remain the key criteria so that customers can continue to rely upon the brand. The gr8x range continues to expand and now has expanded into other exciting product categories such as our popular stretch swaddling wraps, a new luxurious foot muff and patented self inflating feeding pillow. The Gr8X Baby Traveler Deluxe offers an ingenious all-in-one diaper bag and changing pad that is different from all the others. This bag folds neatly into itself with lots of pockets and pouches but retains a stylish look with sleek colors/patterns.

Check out all the other features Gr8X has included with the Baby Traveler Deluxe:
Features:
· Machine washable (Deluxe models only)
· Adjustable backpack straps (Deluxe models only)
· Organized pockets that hold everything you will need to change your baby, including a large rear pocket
· Removable stroller straps
· Adjustable shoulder strap & briefcase style handle
· Soft, removable and machine washable change mat (spare change mats also available as separate accessory items)
· Insulated bottle traveler
· Drawstring bungee cord for a wrap or small blanket
· Mobile phone pouch
· 2 year manufacturing warranty
Dimensions:
· changing area L89cm x W33cm
· Bag closed H36cm x W39cm

We used our bag recently for a day full of shopping. The internal changing pad came in really handy for those times that changing tables weren’t available. I was able to use dressing rooms with ease and privacy. Diapers and wipes are easily accessible when the bag is open so there is no reaching around searching for exactly what is needed. The pockets are large and plentiful enough store diapers, wipes and a change of clothes and all the other necessities for your little one. The included stroller straps came in handy so the bag could easily be attached and kept out of the way when not needed. I was also able to store my baby carrier in the bungee strap on the outside of the bag. This left the stroller basket free for purchases. Gr8X has added many details to the Baby Traveler Deluxe so that it truly is an all-on-one diaper bag. Here is Rob wearing our awesome Burnt Orange bag.

Coco Bonbons unique clothing for kids

I love when my kids look good, who doesn't. Coco Bonbons is a clothing line that produces high quality, whimsical and unique clothing for children. From classic seersucker suits for boys to floral rompers and swing dress for girl, you are going to find sweet clothing for children infant to school-age.

Here's my big boy Shaun is a button-down and plaid short but it's not stuffy or dressed-up. The shirt was soft and silky and the shorts were lightweight with muted colors for a mature look. He's a tall kid but this outfit is going to fit well into summer, fall and possibly spring for the shorts.
If you know me you know my love of cupcakes so of course she is wearing a dress from Coco Bonbons' Josie collection. It's got gorgeous details of ruffles and a cherrie and a cupcake applique. The matching bloomer peeks out the back when she walks or bends to pick flowers.

Want to win an outfit from your favorite Coco Bonbons collection. Come on over to LookWhatMomFound for the details and also to find out how to get extra entries.

I know three little boys that LOVE Wett Giggles. Those little boys belong to Susan (Life in a House of Blue) and Me (the Mom Buzz). Wett Giggles are cute Nail Brushes and Toys that are trapped in natural, glycerin soap. The more you use the soap, the faster those cute little buddies get free! And the soap is HANDMADE, one at at time, with essential oils and shea butter.

The soap smells SO GOOD! We have Horatio and Hamlet - little frogs in Watermelon Soap. Horatio is a simple, cute squeaky toy once he is free. And Hamlet is a nail brush. The boys are still trying to free him! Horatio was freed within 9 days or so. The boys were thrilled!

There are so many scents and characters to choose from. You have to check it out! Plus, you can purchase soaps from the Wett Giggles line with Nail Brushes or with Toys Only, when you have a real little one. Plus, currently all soaps come with a soap dish!

MallyBibs: Stylish, Leather Bibs

I hate cloth bibs. They get ugly and stained after one use, it seems. I used plastic ones, but they are almost ALWAYS made in China. So then I have to keep an ear and eye out for recalls. But, there is another option. MallyBibs. These are leather bibs made in Canada! If something falls on the leather, just wipe it off! No stains! And there are so many other cool things about owning one.

1. It is reversible, with a catch pocket on the other side
2. They are so stylish that it is even okay for toddlers and preschoolers to wear
3. It is magnetized so you can hang it on your fridge
4. You can easily adjust the magnets in the tabs so that it can fit the chubbiest or tiniest of babies!

Honesty, no other bib compares! This is totally a favorite of the Mom Buzz!

Win:
You can WIN a MallyBib from the Mom Buzz. Simply head on over to the review post and follow the contest entry requirements!

BabyMel X2 Diaper Bag

I found that it can be hard choosing the perfect diaper bag that fits you and your child. When you have your second child, it seems to get even harder. That's why I am so glad to share with you the BabyMel X2! It is this AWESOME 2-in-1 diaper bag. Put items for child #1 in one bag. Put items for child #2 in the second bag. The bags come with an extra Shoulder Strap (with built in stroller strap) just for circumstances like this.

Both bags have wipe-clean liners inside, to easily clean up spills. They come with a changing pad and have an insulated side pocket to hold sippies or bottles! Plus, they come in a gorgeous selection of sleek colors. Red/Black (my favorite), Black/Black and Sand/Black.

EarCheck

What is Earcheck ? EarCheck Middle Ear Monitor accurately and painlessly detects the presence of middle ear fluid, a key sign of an ear infection. Used by pediatricians for years, EarCheck helps you determine when your child might have an ear infection and allows for more meaningful conversations with your child's doctor.
How Does it work ? It uses gentle sound waves to accurately and painlessly detect the presence of middle ear fluid, a key sign of an ear infection.
Easy to use: You hold your child's ear up and back, stick the tip into your child's ear, just like an ear thermometer, and push the scan button again
There are then 3 color-coded levels:
1 - green = fluid unlikely
2 - yellow = monitorr
3 through 5 - red = consult the Doctor

My Youngest son has had 2 double ear infections in the last 2 months. Both times he had no symptoms. With the first one he went to the Dr. for his well check and that is when we discovered it. They 2nd one was when we went to the Dr. to make sure his ears had cleared up and we realized that his medication did not work and he still had the double ear infection. A few days after starting his 2nd round of medication I received the EarCheck and I checked his ears right away. By then his medication had started working and it read 2-yellow (monitor) and a few days after that it read 1-green (fluid unlikely). That was a great sign that this time the new meds were working. Since he seems not to have symtoms when his ears are infected I plan on checking him regularly with the EarCheck. I think my favorite feature is that it is so easy to use in your own home anytime. I wish I would of had this for my older kids when they were smaller !

The EarCheck would make a great baby gift for any new mom !

The EarCheck is available online at www.earcheck.com. It is also available at Babies R Us and WalMart,Target and Walgreens
Retail Value is $49.95

My Baby Can Talk

I started to teach my daughter to sign when she was just an infant, because I wanted to be able to understand what she wanted! She used to sign "more" all the time, so I knew when she wanted more food, more play, etc. Now she signs "food" all the time. As a mom, that is so nice to know when she is hungry. I don't have to guess why she is fussing.

My Baby Can Talk is a great fun video that teaches kids to sign. The recommend it for ages 10 months and up. For more details or to enter to win a copy of this, visit my post on My Baby Can Talk on my blog.
