Etsy Find - XY Factory

In honor of my sister being pregnant my Etsy Find today is preggo belly related.

Who says you have to wear moo-moos when you’re pregnant. Rockin’ clothes should be available for the rockin’ mom. XY Factory has those rockin’ styles for mom-to-be. With the shocking burst of red, the Skull Tunic is sure to turn heads. Of course I can’t leave out baby. Is he going to be a skater boy or a green friend to the environment. There is something for everyone! Check out XY Factory for funky fashions for the baby bump and beyond.

Etsy Finds-Love is in the Air

I know I usually share A special Etsy find with you each week, this week is different. In honor of Valentines and all the loving going on I’m sharing a couple special things that I love that I’ve found on Etsy.

As a Philly girl (oh how I miss you so) LOVE Park statue holds a special place in my heart. Need I say more. Now for something a little more personal. I am Puerto Rican but haven’t been back to Puerto Rico in a very long time. Nevertheless there is one place I will never forget, Fort San Cristobal. Absolutely stunning.I collect pottery. Handmade items make me happy. This lovely piece of art makes me smile. I want it to put my rings on each night.

Now that I've shared all these personal special details about myself, share something about you with me.

Etsy Find-Treehouse 28 designs

“Celebrate the uniqueness of custom handmade clothing!”
Alix of Treehouse 28 creates her own designs so that means you’re clothing will be original. Your order is handmade start to finish based on your body’s specific measurements. You will be left with a unique piece of art made just for you; no cookie cutter itemshere.

With sophisticated ruffles and classic wraps these garments will leave you flirty and feminine while still remaining chic.
Simple, comfortable, unique and beautiful are the words that Alix uses to describe her creations.

This is my favorite shirt, this would look perfect over a pair of dark jeans and boots

Now that I am a SAHM I don’t really have a need for a skirt but if I did this would be the one.
Every woman should own a Treehouse 28 design.

Etsy Find-Soule Desigs

I’m being selfish today. After winning a Persnicketea gift basket from The Mom Buzz I went on a hunt for a stylish mug that would go with the fashionable named teas that I received. I found them on Etsy of course.

Soule’s shop is filled with hand-painted trendy designs on mugs, plates, vases and more. I’m currently admiring Brown Chinese Lantern Mugs but also have my eye on Black Tree Design Bowl just because it’s a great looking piece. The organic natural designs are a striking contrast to the sleek shape and of the dishware. Edgy I am not but I would look the part pouring my Domestic Diva tea from a Skull Teapot. Visit Soule’s shop and look around. What would give you that chic city dwelling feel without leaving your yoga pants?

GraciousMay Shoes

There is something about shoes that just sucks me in and don’t get me started on baby shoes.

The cuteness level of the shoes from Etsy boutique GraciousMay has brought me to my knees. Unlike many other boutiques, GraciousMay carries a selection for boys. While it's not as large as the “big” manufacturers out there, they are unique and have that special handmade quality. My absolute favorite bootie is Weiner Dog and they come in PINK too. I would wear these, they are just THAT precious. Another lovely I found was Vintage Mary Janes, WOW. These are perfect for my little girl. She wears lots of leggings and stretchy material pants but sneakers just make her look like she’s ready for a workout. These mary janes would just give her that extra girly touch without overdoing it.
Visit GraciousMay and let us know your pick.

Etsy Finds for New Year

With a new year brings new beginnings. Why not begin a journey towards encouraging more natural play from your children. Natural play is done using materials and toys that jumpstart your child’s creativity and engage their bodies, this type of play is crucial for all areas of child development-physical, social, cognitive and emotional. With simple wooden blocks a child can imagine a city of tall towers or a barn for their collection of farm animals. Puppets and musical instruments are wonderful tools to spark the imagination of a child any age. Toys that light up and sing and talk are entertaining but can be over stimulating for some little ones. Investing in products like play silks to get your child’s mind thinking about what to play next; superhero or princess. Natural play doesn’t have to be only be played with traditional natural toys, today’s plastic and metal toys can easily be adapted for natural play, just don’t install the batteries.

I’m showing you some of my top picks of Natural Play toys from Etsy.
